I bought this album, a 10", a few eeks ago here in Bandung, had a listen tonight and this is some very, very beautiful music!!! I never heard of these guys, they're French, they started making music with self invented instruments that also functioned as sculptures. Check these amazing instruments:
They started out in 1952 and produced music and instruments for the next 50 years, and they really make some amazing music, here's their website:

i don't know when it came out either. only i have had a cassette of it since the early 80's. totally different approach to harry partch but very interesting.
