MELKY GOESELAU, NANIN SOEDIAR & D'LLOYD - KRONCONG POP

Here's a krontjong pop album from Melky Guslaw and Nanin Soediar with music by D'Lloyd.... Melky's name is spelled very different, that probably means that he was under contract with another record company... Most artists in those times were under virtual slave contracts, no royalties often not even any pay, a company would for example buy an artist a car which in those days was quiet something, a car, but that wouldn't be for one album, no matter how succesfull, no, often they had to make a whole bunch of albums to pay off that car. So in order to be able to make some money often artists would make albums with other companies using different names or having their names spelled differently....

enjoy!
