Here's a Wari Lais cassette... As far as I understand it, Wari Lais is a type of singing coming out of the Sintren tradition from Cirebon and Indramayu, been loving that type of singing since the first time I heard it on a cassette from the Kamajaya Group with Titin Maryati... Dadang Darniah is another artist who would sometimes employ that style in her music.... It's still being used in the dangdut music from artists like Diana Sastra but on this cassette you can hear it in the old style, and I'm loving it :)
