When this album was recorded, in 1971, Elly and Rikkert were a stoner hippie couple and they made this lovely album. They had a bit of a hit in Holland with the song De Kauwgomballenboom (The Chewing-gum Tree). Later they went heavily into Christianity and they still are, still making albums, doing television programs for kids....
