ELLY NIEMAN & RIKKERT ZUIDERVELD - DE DRAAD VAN ARIADNE
So after Boudewijn de Groot's album another Dutch hippie album :) Elly Nieman actually sung on the Meester Prikkebeen song from Boudewijn de Groot and in Holland they're simply known as Elly & Rikkert.... This album came out in 1971 and it's a total DIY album and there's one song on it that became a huge hit in Holland, ""De Kaugomballenboom" (The chewing gum ball tree)... In 1976 they became devote Christians, they're still together, still active and they released tons of albums, mostly Christian songs and songs for kids.... And it was actually the father of a friend of mine who introduced them to each other, back in 1966....
This is how they look now....
GET IT HERE
enjoy!
Thanks again, Henk. They certainly look like a 'Golden Couple' back in the day. Not sure about Elly's perm later though.
ReplyDeleteI hear she got it from a perm donor :)
