Great cool jazz from Japan, 3 flexi discs plus a booklet. Released around 1960.
The musicians are Akira Miyazawa, Akira Nakano, Shigeo Suzuki, Tadayuki Harada, Takeshi Inomata, Tatsuro Takimoto & Masahiko Sato. The conductor is Keitaro Miho. The model on the cover is Kuniko Mitomi. And many thanks to Yoshio for providing me with the information that led me to find out more about this incredible release!

Akira Miyazawa was one of pioneer in laying the foundations of Japanese hard bop. The teacher of Japanese Hard Bop is Hampton Hawes who was in Japan for military. Miyazawa is one of his students.
The arranger,Keitaro Mita would later compose the theme for a well-known television programme.
