Fascinating this! Harumi Miyako looking at us as if she was a character from a Kurosawa movie. I like the analogy with country music too, always had a fascination with those kind of characters, the hobo's, mountain men, the outsiders, the outlaws, having lived a simular sort of life way, way back in the Dutch context.... Always thought that Yukio Hashi was more of a surf beat/pop singer :) I have a few more Japanese albums not yet posted, Harumi Miyako is on at least one of them, will have to dig them up!
