  1. Another Teochew opera, this is a famous one, "Wang Mao Sheng Drinks Wine" and was made into a movie, of which this is the soundtrack. This is a version of the opera, not sure if it is the same recording. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzetoiYcesc

Wang Maosheng's Wine’ is a classic play of Teochew Opera. In Chaoshan, it is not only the title of a play, but also a metaphorical saying, which implies that “gifts are thin and favours are thick:”.
The general idea of the story is that Wang Maosheng fled to Chang'an because of the heavy tax in the year of drought, and one day, he heard that the King of Pingliao was Xue Rengui, his brother who had joined the army in the past, and he was very happy to reward his wife. The couple had no gift to celebrate the occasion, so they went there with water in a vegetable urn to make wine, but the doorkeeper made things difficult for them. Wang Maosheng, in a hurry, the posters quietly don't in the back of the door officer's robe, only to get into the door to meet the brothers freely Chin ‘hometown wine’, all the officials Chin ‘wine’ although disgusting, but for the fawning and flattering, they all said that the good wine, Maosheng embarrassment is forced to, but Rengui said, ‘the water is more fragrant than the wine, the Chin water should be thinking of the source.’
