Now... A few days ago I posted an album from Hong Kong that had the words Young Boys' Organ Music on the cover. Pretty funny, as visitor Mark said in the comments section, "Young Boys Organ Music is one of the most unintentionally hilarious titles I've seen in a while", and he was right... Well... It gets even better with this one (or worse, depending on how you look at it I guess....). I mean, get a load of this (pun intended), an album from Miss Golden Swallow.... Yes, I know... Pretty good album this, a few scratches here and there... She was also known as Candy Shu.... More info in the comments section thanks to Yoshio....

Jin Yan (Candy Shu) was a Taiwanese singer in the 1960s. She was one of the singers in the variety show ‘The Star Club’ of Taiwan Television Corporation. She became famous for dancing and singing the Mandarin song 〈More Polite〉, and was known as the ‘Queen of Beautiful Legs’. She later settled in the United States. Her works include ‘Clothes of Tears’, ‘Lover's Dream’ and ‘Tomorrow is Kitto’. Contemporary Hong Kong film star Andy On is her son.

After participating in a singing contest in high school, Jinyan went to Japan to work with Crown Records and hosted a programme on Fuji Television in Japan. By chance, she returned to China and released her first solo album, ‘Chase’, and became one of the mainstays of the ‘Star Club’ singing programme on Taiwan Television; Jinyan travelled between China, Taiwan and Japan during this period, and was actively engaged in her solo career. In 1970, she won the ‘Japanese Newcomer of the Year Award’; with her beautiful legs, she was known as the ‘Queen of Legs’ at that time; after years of travelling to and from China and abroad, she got married in 1973 and retired from singing, and now occasionally participates in charity events and oldies concerts in the hope of spreading the good songs to the future.
