The official data of the Representative Project (Extension Project) shows that ‘Huangmei Opera originated from the tea-collecting tunes in Huangmei County, Hubei Province’ [37], and the research carried out by the Anhui Art Research Institute under the arrangement of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Anhui Province concluded that ‘the claim that Huangmei Opera originated from the tea-collecting tunes in Huangmei is the mainstream view of the academic community ‘is the mainstream view of the academic community .
