Genjring music from Lilis Kasiri and Kontrak with the Genjring Putri Kuda Hidup Group. On other genjring cassettes their group is called the Genjring Kuda Kecil Group, they probably changed the name of the group because those other cassettes were put out with another company.... Genjring is the music that is played while female acrobats do their thing showing off amazing feats of strength, in the Cirebon area in west-Java. Originally genjring was just singing with a tambourine but the father from Lilis Kasiri, a man named Kasbullah developed it into what you can hear here....
