    Yukio Hashi - Hanatarogasa

Hanatarogasa (花太郎笠) is the 95th single by Yukio Hashi, released on 5 February 1968 (SV-672). A music book of the same name, Hanatarogasa (SB1005), was also produced.
From the August 1964 release of ‘Koi no Toranai’ (If I Fall in Love), he presented rhythm songs incorporating electric sounds, and ended this field with ‘Koi no Mexican Rock’, but later crotchety songs incorporated the sound of rhythm songs.
Isamu Kaneko describes this work as ‘a crotchety travel piece, but ... The full band, shakuhachi and shamisen are a given, but even electric guitar is added. ..... The lyrics draw on the tradition of Ushioigasa, and the composition is such that it could not be a better blend of Japanese and Western styles."The score includes the words “Medium Afternoon”, “Medium Afternoon”, “Medium Afternoon”, “Medium Afternoon”, “Medium Afternoon” and “Medium Afternoon”. The score is labelled ‘Medium Afro Rock’.
This work takes the form of a sequel to Hashi's 26th single ‘Narita no Hanataro (c/w Narita Odori)’ [released 10 Sep 1962, VS-806], with the lyrics ‘I know I'm an idiot, but this is my second trip’.

He had many faces, sometime young dude, sometimes yakuza also
military personnel...There were many duets with women, Olympic songs and other planned items, which must have led to the release of a tremendous amount of singles.
