UNITED CHINESE AND FOREIGN ORCHESTRA - A GO GO
Yesterday I posted a Taiwanese A Go Go album. As usual our friend Yoshio told me, in the comments section, who the band was that made that record, he said it was the Chinese and Western United Ensemble (per discogs). Well, it turns out I have another album by these guys and on the back of that album it says that the songs were chosen by "the famous composer Mr. Lim Lai Ham" and that the bands name is the United Chinese and Foreign Orchestra.... Not really that much of a difference really, probably google translate :) Same kind of music, Western music (basically rock 'n' roll) mixed with traditional Chinese music, great stuff!
GET IT HERE
Enjoy!

Notably, they appear to be a different band.

合衆 means Union. Yes, they are the House Band of the Label.
Union label orchestra, to be exact.

As you say, same concept(East/West) and great music, indeed.
