MISS TJITJIH - BENTANG SANDIWARA SUNDA

A cassette honoring the life and career of Miss Tjitjih, born in 1908, who was a singer, dancer and actress from Sumedang in West-Java known for her great talent and exceptional beauty. She was discovered by Aboebakar Bafaqih and she joined his Valencia Opera theater group in the 1920's and later became his wife. She passed away in 1936 from tuberculosis.... Music by Ikna Steia, Oga Wilantara, Ega Robot and Wahyu Roche, singing by Neneng Fitri, Rita Tila, Ujang Bejo and Neneng Rienawati and narrated by Asep Sunandar Sunarya and Asep Truna.... IMAM MUDRIKA, RITA TILA & BALAKACOMBRANG - THE GOLDEN HITS

This dvd was given to everybody in attendance of the concert on Saturday, May the 7th, 2016, in the Horison Hotel in Bandung by Imam Mudrika, Rita Tila and Balakacombrang. I also saw Nining Meida perform there and Neneng Fitri and Darso's brother, Uko Hendarto, was honored for his contribution to Sundanese music. Music by Ega Robot Ethnic Percussion and Yan Achiemsha.... Two songs missing, they used pretty cheap dvd's I think but at least most songs still can be played lah....
