Wonderful sisingaan (or pergosi odong odong as it's also called) cassette from Ika Rostika with the Robot Group. Bapak Robot, who was leading the Robot Group was also the father of Bandung artist Ega Robot. Though almost never credited with it, he was a very important figure in the development of what was to become jaipong music. While Ali Saban and Suwanda were developing all these new drum styles up in Karawang in the early 70's Bapak Robot was doing the same thing up in the beautiful city of Subang, close to Bandung....
