Mr Leung Yat-chiu was an expert in polyphonic harmonica. During his 47 years in Hong Kong, he has been actively promoting harmonica and mouth organ music to the youth and students. He had taught harmonica and mouth organ playing and organised mouth organ bands in more than 500 schools in Hong Kong, Macau and other parts of the world. He was also known as the ‘pioneering master’ of the harmonica in Hong Kong, and the famous Hong Kong artiste, Mr. James Wong, had learnt the harmonica from Mr. Leung Yat Chiu.
