dude, I've just seen your blog and the content is marvelous.. how do you get all these songs?? it would be an honor for me to learn the history of music from you :D
thanks :) it used to be easy, 10 -15 years ago i was like the only one buying most of this stuff, there were a few collectors but they were only collecting 1 style, mostly psych, rock and blues. now every tom, dick and harry is collecting here and it's gotten very, VERY hard to find records, specially indonesian ones, even cassettes, traditional music is super hard now, most of these (upper middle class and rich) kids collecting now only collect stuff to sell it for ABSURD prices on the internet, popsike, ebay, facebook, it's become ridiculous really, mostly they don't even listen to what they buy and i miss those old days, opening boxes that hadn't been opened in decades, coming out filthy and black but with arms full of great, incredible, forgotten records and cassettes... no more i'm afraid, something comes on the market, you have to be there in one hour or less or it's already snatched up.....
