Great album from Sondi Sondai who was an entertainer at the court of King Rama IX and Queen Sirikit. After completing undergraduate work at the University in Bangkok she left for the United States on a Fullbright scholarship and she studied at the University in Los Angeles, studying for a master degree in theater arts.... Well... She was discovered and this incredible exotica album came out, with Hal Johnson and his Orchestra. Hal Johnson did quiet a bit of work with Exotica great Martin Denny too.... This album came out in 1959 and this is the original pressing....
