Here's Hugo Montenegro's fantastic album The Man From U.N.C.L.E., great crime-jazz written for the televidion series of the same name and this is the original 1965 pressing....
It's nice to know I'm not the only one in who has this album. Pulling a pistol on a buxom babe is such a secret agent thing to do. Not sure that's the best way to impress a lady in the real world, but perhaps in the land of U.N.C.L.E. it's just the thing. Shaken, not stirred. Thanks darling.
The most important thing for a secret agent is to know when to pull out! No commitments for these guys!!!
My only experience with a gun was in the early 90's when I was growing weed in greenhouses in Holland. Me and my best buddy S. were a team, we would sometimes spend months together living in a little camper in the forest around the city of Apeldoorn, planting tens of thousands of clones, growing them, checking them for fungus and when it was close to harvest time guarding the place at night. Hence the gun, I don't even remember what it was, I think a baretta but not sure, it was a small red thing, I practised loading it but never shot it... One night right before harvest time my friend couldn't be there and he had that gun with him, so I'm alone in that greenhouse in the middle of nowhere and wouldn't you know it, that night, must've been around 3 in the morning or something a van rolled up and 5 or 6 masked guys came out of it, I didn't think, I just reacted, ran towards them, screaming, in my underwear and one sneaker on one foot. was more then lucky 'cause they ran! Jumped in their van and took off, next morning when the boss came we decided, harvest, NOW!!!
Crazy times!!!
Had guns put to my head a couple of times, a few times back home in Rotterdam, once in Thailand and once here in Indonesia....
Never understood the fascination with guns, holding one, loaded and ready to go it gave me no feeling at all, it's just a tool.....

Crazy screaming guy in underwear is way more intimidating that a gun! Glad to hear it all worked out.
