    “I arrive in Monterey and see butterflies and colors and flowers with peace and love,” he said. ”It was fantastic. I was impressed, but everyone was stoned. But that was all right and I was meeting all these beautiful people."

  4. I have a very vague memory of sitting in a car with my parents passing by the Kralingse Foredt in Rotterdam, '69 or '70, I forgot, it was crazy budy, a festival and Pink Floyd was playing... My folks were more into Elvis and the Everly Brothers, Pink Floyd wasn't really their deal, Ekseption was one of my moms favorite band though, I grew up with so many kinds of music, radio was on all day, tv didn't start till four or so and all we listened to were the pirate stations, Radio North Sea and Radio Veronica..

    Yes, those were the days....
