Hi Henk. So Dave Davies, from the Kinks, is touting your site on Twitter now, and his Rock & Roll friends are being blown away, as they should be.
Your site is a jewel, and they know it. I have a vision of all these wonderful musicians and singers influencing the West. It sure would shake things up sound wise. Best from Matthew.
I think it's a lot to do with the youtube I've been making lately too, should've done that much earlier.... It's harder then ever now to find tapes, and really forget about vinyl but I've been lucky this week, scored some 200 wayang cassettes and album on vinyl from Ernie Djohan and some interesting looking Chinese stuff on vinyl but gotta get my amplifier looked at first, tapes are fine but for some reason the vinyl recordings seem to be mono.... And tomorrow I have an appointment will pick up some Minang tapes, not sure what yet.... Yeah Mathew man... You're the main visitor here for me, for so many years, one of those that understand quickly how great Indonesian music is, how diverse and how deep it goes, it's been quite a journey for me, so many discoveries and it still is and often, when I post stuff I'll be thinking "Oh, Dolmance is gonna love this :) " .... Gotta say. Timmy's been great to, him and a few others....
