This group came from the K.H.Z. Mustopa school in Tasikmalaya in West Java, a school that was started by National Hero KH. Zainal Mustafa Sukamanah, it was an Islamic boarding school (pesantren) and in later times grew to a complex of more schools. K.H. Zainal Mustafa Sukamanah was imprisoned by the Dutch in colonial times and fought the Japanese, culminating in the so called "Bloody Sukamanah Battle". He was affiliated with the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) Jam'iyyah....
