No I think it's just KIM but I could be wrong there, I don't really know much about it other then that it was a thing for a while in Padang and there seems to be this weird obsession with numbers, some tapes that's all they sing about... numbers.... SUPER hard to find here in Bandung, so far I've been able to find 6 tapes and they're all on the blog....

I found many modern recordings on YouTube from parties where this music is mentioned, but at first glance, I couldn't grasp the difference between this music and dangdut koplo. Of course, the motifs of Minangkabau music are recognizable, but otherwise, no clues. Here is an example:
