Around 1968 Lilis Suryani, having an enormously succesful solo carriere behind her wanted to be part of an all girl group like Dara Puspita, the Beach Girls, The Singers etc., so together with Rita Rachman and Rose Sumanti she formed a band called The Females. She wasn't singing all the songs but she was playing the drums on all of them in this band and in 1969 they came out with this album and as far as I know it's the only album they put out...
