The world of this album does not exist in Japan. So exotica for everyone. It contains many of the songs featured by Oscar Young, so check your files listen to it!
Doesn't surprise me! Don't know if you can read what is written on the back, about the occupation of Japan after WWII etc. ..... The word that comes to mind is.... ehrrr.... paternalistic :)

Listen to the MASH soundtrack for an overview of the post-war situation. Japanese jazzmen worked on US military bases and they would go on to create Japan's post-war pop music.
Hi Henk, I wanted to send you an email ref an album you posted probably around November, it was I think an unknown lp and the folder it was in simply said 'Tony Records 93s' and tracks numbered 1 to 12 with no track names, is there an email I can use to send a question? Really appreciate your help , thank you
Update...email no longer needed ! I found it (lp is called DEEPLY IN DEBT To) I love this album but deleted it by mistake so massively pleased to have found it again. Thanks for all the great posts madrotter
