Here's a collector's item and a very rare one at that, the promo-album (for radio stations) from the Mat Bitel band from Bandung, active in the 80's and they're still very active, still performing... This only came out as a cassette and even those are quiet rare nowadays... As you can guess from their name they were heavily influenced by The Beatles, but these are all own songs and this is a pretty good album, some psychedelics sprinkled here and there, and yes all very Beatles like. This is a pretty good album and very, very hard to find.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!

Here's a double album, a concert registration, recorded in Kuala Lumpur in 1975, a concert to celebrate the birthday of the then Prime-minister One of the great composers of the 60's and 70's in Malaysia was actually Dutch. His name was Gustaaf Nicolaas Steyn. In the 40's he immigrated to Jakarta and left for Singapore in 1958 where he began working for Steering Radio Muzik on Singapore TV. He moved to Australia in 1962 playing in night clubs there and then moved to Malaysia in 1966 and began working with the RTM (Radio Television Malaysia) Orchestra. He made tons of patriotic songs there, dabbled in jazz music, traditional folk songs from Malaysia and lots, lots more. He passed away in Kuala Lumpur in 1992... Johari Salleh was a music maestro who was quite famous in Malaysia in the 70s and 80s. He was born on February 9, 1939 in Geylang, Singapore. He was one of the pioneers for the RTM Orchestra.... Tan Chong Yew was one of the great Malaysian composers of Chinese descent.... Piano player and composer Alfonso Soliano was huge in the Malaysian, Singaporean and Thai jazz scene.... Got some info about this one from James: Hi Henk there isn't any singer information on the record it only wrote 日本最流行歌曲 Japanese Famous Pop Songs. The song was written in Chinese which is the Chinese version of this songs i have written and matched the corresponding songs to them The first two songs was sung by Yukio Hashi Third song is by Miyoko Tashiro with Wada Hiroshi & His Mahina Stars for the fourth i actually not sure of the song in Japanese. 1.雨中情侣 （雨の中の二人 Ameno naka no futari） 2.一吻定情 （恋をするなら） 3.爱他爱他 (愛して愛して愛しちゃったのよ) 4. 痴心爱他 （I actually not sure of this original song title） Thanks James!
