AAN DARWATI & NENY HAYATI + GIRI HARJA 3 - NEMBONGAN DEUI

Here's a great kliningan cassette from Aan Darwati and Neny Hayati with music by Asep Sunandar Sunarya and his Giri Harja 3 Group... I actually saw the Giri Harja 3 Group perform a little over a week ago and they were fantastic. First time I saw them was around 15 years ago or so, in the Kebon Jati area in the center of Bandung City... Pak Asep was still the wayang puppet player and the place was just packed, absolutely sardines in a can packed, no place to sit anywhere but they started calling me from the stage and I went up there, sat right behind Pak Asep, they gave me food, drinks and it was just absolutely amazing.... After Pak Asep passed away his son, Yogaswara took over the group and I've seen them quite a few times, got to know Yogaswara, I already knew one of their singers, the great Masyuning and I got to know their kendang player, the great Berlin.... Those guys, this group.... they can play anything, really, anything as far as Sundanese traditional music goes and this cassette... is just great.... GET IT HERE Enjoy!
