Born in 1948, Yea Fang is a native of Taipei City and a graduate of Jingmei Middle School. She started her singing career in high school with the vocalist Lin Kuan, and soon became a public singer. In the early days, she sang mainly Western songs, first in ‘Oriental’ and ‘Guest of Honor’, and then in a Taiwan TV singing programme. Her most famous English songs are the dynamic ‘Suitcase Girl’ and ‘Chinese Cha Cha’. Because of her dancing and singing, her classmates call her ‘Flying Girl’ or ‘Elvis’, but she is very quiet in private. From https://tryit287814.pixnet.net/blog/post/22783964
