Kong Yam Shan (江艳珊), initially known as Jiang Yan Shan (江艳山), is a Hong Kong and Taiwan female singer who began singing in 1963, and is known as a ‘Classical Beauty’, specialising in lyrical Mandarin period songs, which have a large audience . On 28 July 1964, from 10:30am to 1:30pm, Jiang Yanshan (江艳珊) participated in the ‘Workers’ Paradise’ (a recorded radio programme) held by Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) at the Zhenxing Confectionery and Biscuit Factory in Shaukeiwan, Hong Kong Island, where she celebrated with the General Manager of the factory, Mr. Ho Chi-wong, the Manager, Mr. Ho King-sheung, and more than 200 staff members. The programme was hosted by Radio Television Hong Kong's H.P. Cheung, accompanied by the Man Jau Po Band, and she sang period pieces such as ‘Heart to Heart’ and ‘Dove’. Starting from 1 November 1965, she sang in the evening at the ‘Bally's Night Club’ . Starting from 20 September 1970, she sang at the Globe Theatre on Lockhart Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong in the evening for the ‘Haitian Opera Troupe’ .
