I really like this one, Hiroshi Watanabe's Star Dust Orchestra, this came out in 1962, they play pretty standard jazz tunes but some songs they mix jazz music with traditional Japanese music, really very cool :)

He led the dance band Stardusters and was a pioneer in the Japanese jazz scene, reigning over the jazz world for almost a quarter of a century.
