ORKES MELAYU BOB GELDOP - 20 NON STOP DANGDUT

So yeah, here's a non-stop dangdut cassette from Orkes Melayu Bob Geldop, and yes, they mean Bob Geldof, who, at the time this came out wasn't exactly very popular in Indonesia.... First, he called out President Suharto back in the 80's about not sending rice to parts of Afrika during a huge famine when he was involved with the whole Live Aid festival. Not everybody was amused here in Indonesia back then. Then Sir Boob demanded that Suharto crack down on the bootlegs of Live Aid tapes. Well, for some reason Suharto complied, and in typical Suharto style he didn't just do something about those bootlegs of Live Aid tapes, he crushed the whole underground cassette labels scene, all of them, and, so I've been told, overnight you couldn't get any music until the Internet came in....
