Hi Henk I'm noticing in quite a few of your recent rips that there's a lot of distortion in the left channel. Possibility coming from your recording set up. Maybe worth a look.
i have actually, weirdest thing, changed cables, everything.... seems to be worse with some cassettes then nothing with others, just recorded a jugala jaipong tape (only for the youtube channel not for the blog) and it's crystal clear, no idea what or how really, all i can do for now is just keep going i guess....
Thanks Henk. The distortion is consistent, but only a problem on some cassettes. I only noticed because i'm mostly listening with the headphones lately. Maybe it was just those odd cassettes.
