Here's a kliningan dangdut cassette from Euis Gartika with the Wandasari Group.... This, by the way, is the ten thousandth post on this blog, pretty freaking crazy if you think about it..... Counting the 2000 posts I lost with the blog before this one when the whole megaupload debacle happened and the countless re-uploads, I'm probably at 14.000 posts or something like that.....

Thanks David, it's been a fun ride, when I started with this I knew next to nothing about Indonesian music, it started as a blog about Indonesian hip hop I was still producing a lot of music here back then but I soon ran out of things to post and looking for stuff to sample I bought some albums from Titim Fatimah, she just blew my mind.... I was already listening to "World music" since the early 80's, and jazz, afro beat, experimental, post punk, you name it and hip hop was getting stale, at least for me it was, so yeah :)
